Starting the Study Statement
The final Study Statement is here
This first blog post back in October was my attempts at understanding what exactly was expected of us.
As a self-taught Artist with absolutely no formal training whatsoever, I am absolutely loving the exercise of formalising creativity.
Might my former education in Philosophy & Psychology help me to find the answers, or just ask even more questions?
Might my 15 years of professional work experience in international marketing help me to structure my thoughts and better communicate my desires?
While watching (crying my eyes out to) Jane Goodall’s Famous Last Words interview on Netflix, I started to map out some of my key words - my key drivers.
Identity
Duality
Feminism
Religion
Trinity
LGBTQI+ gender
My legacy, my purpose
Life & Death
Space
What’s next?
So, as a reminder - The final Study Statement is here - but I started having a think about the Study Statement, which has the below format:
Unit 1 Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcome 1:
Formulate, describe and implement a challenging and self-directed programme of study, relating to your Study Statement.
(Assessment Criteria: Enquiry)
Learning Outcome 2:
Implement appropriate working methods for building an independent and effective self-organisation that enables the critical engagement with practice-based research.
(Assessment Criteria: Process)
Learning Outcome 3:
Communicate a critical understanding of your developing practice.
(Assessment Criteria: Knowledge, Communication)
