The first day of The Journey at Central Saint Martins is kicking off on 2 October 2025, which calculates to 3, if we look at it through the prism of numerology.

According to Affinity Numerology, “the energy represented by a number 3 date resonates with creative self-expression. It tends to be lively, cheerful, and animated… The 3-date energy also resonates with inspiration, optimism, and social interaction. It elicits charisma and interest in the arts.”

The ancient Greek philosopher, Pythagoras, also suggested that the meaning behind numbers was deeply significant, as the number 3 was considered the perfect number: The number of harmony, wisdom and understanding.

Plato also saw the number 3 as being symbolic of the triangle, the simplest spatial shape, and considered the world to have been built from triangles - a fact that we now see throughout nature, inspiring architecture.

Therefore, if we go along with the idea that the first day of our Fine Arts course is represented by 3, which is also a very important number for me - representing my family, my love, my spirituality, my address in Paris, even the name of my kitten Trinity, and much more - we could say that this has some interesting cosmic significance.
