The 2026 Interim Show in London

This was the most fantastic week, ever.

In full transparency, I am finally catching up on life and writing this blog post on 6 August 2026.

This year has absolutely flown by! It all started in March, in London, surrounded by a group of new souls.

The main reason why this year has flown by is because there has been opportunity upon opportunity upon opportunity, most of which I totally piled upon myself, gleefully. So no complaining there.

Another reason is that I am getting old and time flies. Joke joke, we are all moving forward together, but time is certainly slipping faster, now that I am having more fun in art, than previous years.

Does this mean that my life is just going to get faster and faster, the more art I do…?

Great.

It was an honour, a pleasure, and a TREAT, to meet everyone.

I have actually dreamt about this day quite a few times since, remixed in with plenty of other funny memories, all in my Dream Diary of course.

The fact that I am constantly questioning reality, and wondering if I am someone else’s dream, or my own, was on full force during Low Residency.

A lot of the Low Residency week seemed too good to be true.

Teenage Daniella was grinning nonstop.

Am I really at CSM?

Who are these hilarious, talented, kind people?

What did I do to deserve such a wonderful class of creative souls and fellow artists?

The t-shirt protest was hilarious.

I was against it at first, because I am no fun, but then it was the best idea ever.

It’s true that we must do crazy things to be heard, seen, and to even exist, and yes!!!!! It is important that Alex Schady be aware of us. Because he rocks, CSM rocks, and we rock, Voilà.

Moreover, the t-shirts were cute. Well done, Olga! Fashion Queen of the lands.

What shall we create next? I believe some merchandise is due in November for the Print Fair!

(Yes, this is in August, so we are already talking about the end of the year - exciting)

I am a lucky, lucky soul.

Teenage Daniella says FUCK yeah.

Look at this! My mum could be there, one of my aunties, my best friend of over 25 years, my friends of all the decades, and so many beautiful people, each of whom had their own experience with my artwork, and each of whom had their own interpretation, which was amazing.

What would I have said if I could have told myself, teenage Daniella, that this was what the future reserved? … I definitely would have behaved completely differently, so it’s probably a good thing I couldn’t tell myself, BUT, for the sake of cute words, I would have reassured myself - It will be fine, look what is coming.

Aren’t we just fabulous???
