A private or public blog?

So, as it turns out, my blog being private means that the newly installed search bar does not work.

How do I know this, after trying everything to understand why the search bar would not return any results?

Because when I take the password off, the search bar works perfectly.

I must now decide if I prefer my blog being functional, or mysterious.

What. An. Annoying. Choice. To. Make.

When the blog is public.

When the blog is private and password protected. So even if you are logged in with the password, the search bar functionality still will not work.

Such a conundrum.

I am going to try and find a way around this, while adding categories and organising everything a bit better, otherwise…

… I might also cave in …
