Visiting my sold artworks
I must admit - One of my favourite things, in life, ever, is to revisit sold artworks in the collector’s house.
This happened last week, and I was reunited with The Holy Trinity for a few hours. This piece is one of my favourites, as it was such an impulsive, emotional, creation, and it was the first piece to sell that night. It sold within the first hour, pretty much, and attract a lot of attention from the street into the gallery. I think it was the first time I genuinely felt my panic and stress turn into pure creation. My mind no longer had the time to get in the way and overthink, we just had to produce, and this is what happened.
In addition to revisiting sold artworks, it was Paris Design Week, just before Paris Fashion Week.
The interwoven stories between art, architecture, interior design, aesthetics and all the champagne in-between, was beautiful.
From Armani to Galerie Scène Ouverte, it was a very inspirational evening out and about.
The artists at Galerie Scène Ouverte are handpicked for their capacity to simultaneously match and contrast with the design objects in the gallery.
Loved it! Maybe a show with them one day?
